Message:

Hello guys,
First of all, we would like to apologize for disappearing without notice. Some problem suddenly came up with the hosting service we were using so we had to migrate our website. It took some time but we are finally up and running again. We will try to make sure that this does not happen again.

Additionally, this sudden migration has put a strain on our finances, so we need your support more than ever. As for how you can support us, we have listed that below:

Once again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We hope that you will continue to support us.

"Hey, send me back to that town immediately!"

"Wait, Alex!"

It seems that the blue-skinned demon boy's name is Alex. He looks to be around the age of an upper elementary school student, with dark indigo hair and pale blue skin.

"...What will you do if you go back? You're in tatters, without a weapon. Even if I return you to that town, you'll just die for nothing."

"I don’t care! My dad and mom are already gone! At least I'll take as many humans down with me as I can!"

"None of your parents or villagers would ever want you to die for nothing like that!"

"Ugh..."

I may be a complete outsider, but I can say that much for sure. If Alex's parents and the villagers who passed away saw him now, they would undoubtedly stop him with all their might.

"Are you really going to throw away the life you barely managed to save? And are you going to abandon these two companions from your village?"

"Alex..."

"Big brother Alex..."

"...Damn it, damn it all!"

Alex clenched his fists tightly, tears streaming down his face.

He must know deep down. He knows that his parents and the villagers didn't want him to seek revenge, and he knows how powerless he is...

But if he can stop himself here, he'll be okay. Of course, the hatred toward humans will never fully disappear. However, at least for now, he will choose to live alongside the two girls from his village instead of dying meaninglessly on his own.

"All three of you must be thirsty and hungry. Let's eat something and take it easy first."

I don’t know where their demon settlement was, but at least they didn’t eat or drink anything yesterday while they were captured.

No one would bother giving food or water to those destined for execution, especially if they're from an enemy race.

"Wow, that’s amazing!"

"You made so much food appear from nowhere!"

I took out the plates, cups, water, bread, and fruits I had bought today from my storage magic. I'm glad I bought all of this. There are about five plates, but only two cups, so the two girls will have to share one.

"Eat slowly. There’s plenty of food, so no need to rush."

Fortunately, I had just bought a lot of food, so there's enough to go around. As for meat, I’ve got enough for half a cow.

"Thank you so much for saving us!"

"Thank you!"

"..."

Before they started eating, the two girls thanked me. Alex wiped away his tears.

"I just did what I wanted to do. You don’t need to feel obligated."

Yeah, I did it because I wanted to. So, I’ll take responsibility for what I did. I’ll look after these kids to the end.

"This is delicious!"

"Yeah, it's so good!"

"...Tastes great."

The three of them started eating the bread, fruit, and water I gave them. It seems they hadn’t had a proper meal in a while, so they were eating this simple food with great enthusiasm.

"Okay, this is ready too. Just a little bit for now."

While the kids were eating, I cooked some beef that I had stored with my magic, using fire magic to grill it and sprinkle some salt on it for a simple dish. It’s not good to eat too much greasy meat on an empty stomach, so just a little for now.

"It’s been so long since I’ve had meat!"

"Wow, it’s so delicious!"

"...It’s good."

The three of them ate a surprisingly large amount for children. They must have been really hungry. After they were satisfied, I decided to bring up a topic.

"Alright, let’s introduce ourselves. I’m Jin, just a random demon passing by. Call me whatever you like."

I introduced myself to the kids while still in my armor and helmet. For their sake, I decided not to tell them just yet that I’m actually a human.

"Jin-san, thank you again for saving us. My name is Lutra."

The girl named Lutra has black hair and eyes, just like me. Two horns protrude from both sides of her short-cut hair, and if you look closely, you can see sharp fangs peeking out from her mouth.

She seems to be around the same age as Alex, about an upper elementary school student. All three of them are wearing the same ragged tunics. I should find better clothes for them soon.

"Jin-uncle. I’m Beane!"

The girl named Beane has brown hair, with cute cat-like ears sprouting from the top of her head, and a tail extending from behind her. She looks more like a beastman than a demon, but I wonder if beastmen are considered part of the demon race in this world?

Now that I think about it, I didn’t see any of the classic fantasy races like beastmen, elves, or dwarves in that town.

"So, Lutra, Beane, and Alex, right? It’s nice to meet you. Now, let’s talk about what we should do next. Do any of you have any relatives or acquaintances in another village?"

"No, everyone we knew was from that village."

"Ugh..."

"...The adults used to trade with other villages, but us kids don’t know anything about that."

Hmm, so there’s no one they can turn to. The only demons I know are those guys...
