Hello guys,
First of all, we would like to apologize for disappearing without notice. Some problem suddenly came up with the hosting service we
were using so we had to migrate our website. It took some time but we are finally up and running again. We will try to make sure
that this does not happen again.
Additionally, this sudden migration has put a strain on our finances, so we need your support more than ever. As for how you can support us, we have listed that below:
Once again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We hope that you will continue to support us.
It seems this Outdoor Shop ability has a leveling system. I need 4.96 more gold coins to reach Level 2. Considering that the folding spoon I bought cost 4 copper coins, it looks like purchasing a total of 5 gold coins’ worth of items from the Outdoor Shop will allow me to level up.
"When I first touched the money of this world, that's when this Outdoor Shop ability first activated. There's definitely a connection between this ability and money...
So, what should I do now? I still have quite a bit of money left, and I want to see what happens when the shop levels up. Since I don’t have anything specific I need right now, I might as well buy different types of camping gear to level up the shop.
In order to level up the Outdoor Shop, I charged an additional 4 gold coins and bought various camping gear. I tried buying every item available in the shop, but nothing special happened after purchasing them all. Afterward, I started choosing items that wouldn’t take up much space but seemed likely to sell well.
"Alright, that’s 5 gold coins’ worth of purchases.
"Outdoor Shop has leveled up to Level 2. More items are now available for purchase.
"Yes! Just as I thought!
As I suspected, leveling up this ability allows me to buy more products from the shop. It’s a system where leveling up grants access to more purchasable items.
...However, it doesn’t seem like leveling up boosts my physical abilities, as expected. Looks like I won’t be going around overpowering everyone in this other world. Not that I had any intention of doing that anyway.
"Oh, there are quite a few new items available for purchase. Huh, I’ll need to buy 50 gold coins’ worth to level up again?
With the shop now at Level 2, a variety of new items have been added to the lineup. Things like compasses and lights—more typical outdoor gear—are now available.
However, the required amount to level up again has increased to 50 gold coins’ worth of purchases. I only have a little over 25 gold coins right now, so leveling up further isn’t possible at the moment.
"…So, I need to make money. Since I don’t plan on becoming an adventurer, I guess I’ll be a merchant!
I can sell the items I purchase from the Outdoor Shop and use the profits to make more purchases, aiming to level up the shop. Yeah, this seems like a solid path forward. I can see the direction I need to take!
Tomorrow, I’ll need to figure out how to sell my items. If I want to set up a stall, I might need some sort of permit. Maybe I’ll have to register with the Commerce Guild I visited yesterday. I also need to check the market to see what kinds of products are being sold and at what prices. Looks like tomorrow’s going to be a busy day!
The next day, when I woke up, it was already almost noon. It wasn’t a dream, and I hadn’t just woken up in the tent at the campground I was staying at. Everything that happened yesterday was real.
Last night, after finishing up with the Outdoor Shop, I spent some time thinking about my original world. Have I been reported missing at the campground? I’m not sure if I’ll ever get back to my old world, but I hope my family and friends are doing well... Oh, and I couldn’t care less about my job or my bosses.
I’ve managed to sort out my feelings to some degree. I’ll search for a way to return to my original world while trying my best to survive in this one!
"Good morning!
"Oh my, that’s quite a late morning! It’s almost lunchtime.
"Big brother, you’re such a sleepyhead!
When I went downstairs, I saw the inn’s hostess and Albera. Even though I know it’s just a business smile, it’s still heartwarming.
"I must have been really tired yesterday. Oh, I’d like to extend my stay for another night with dinner included. Last night’s meal was delicious.
"Thank you! My husband’s cooking has quite a reputation.
So the muscular guy from last night was indeed Albera’s father. She’s really lucky not to take after him!
"I’m looking forward to dinner tonight as well. By the way, could you tell me how I can go about starting a business in this city?
"Well, if it’s just for a few days selling things from a stall or rented shop, you don’t need to register. You just pay a usage fee. But if you’re planning to run a long-term business, you’ll need to register with the Commerce Guild.
"I see, thank you! I’ll head to the Commerce Guild then.
As expected, I’ll need to register with the Commerce Guild. Since I visited yesterday, I have a rough idea of where it is. Before heading there, I’ll stop by the market again to pick up clothes and shoes that fit this world.
There are people in all kinds of outfits in this town, but the gatekeeper and the staff at the Commerce Guild gave me strange looks yesterday. It seems that my hoodie and pants are a bit out of place in this world.
