Update:

Hey guys,
As most of you probably know by now Disqus has stopped providing services to many sites and our site is one of them. Right now, we are in the middle of developing our independent comment system. As of today(26 March 2025), we are releasing the comment with Limited features. There are other features still under development and may take some time to roll out.

As always, please continue to support us. You can show your support in the following ways:

“No way! It’s moving at an insane speed!”

“There are so many tall buildings!”

“Everywhere is packed with people!”

“It’s making me dizzy, nya!”

“There are other people around, so everyone, please try to be a little quieter.”

Even though we already stand out as a group, their loud voices on the train make us stand out even more. Today, I’m riding the train with Lilith and the other three after bringing them to this world.

...No, this isn’t cheating or anything! It’s just that the week after I went on a date with Sara, today I’m showing Lilith and the others around this world.

Before the gate connecting this world and the other world closed, I had promised them that if it ever opened again, I’d show them around this world. I’m just keeping that promise.

Of course, I’ve properly told my fiancée Sara that I’m taking Lilith and the others around today. If I tried to lie and hide it, things could get messy later when the truth came out.

...I do think that someday Sara and Lilith’s group will meet, but I really have no idea how that’s going to go down.

“We’re getting off at the next stop.”

“O-Okay!”

Even though they’re usually brave adventurers, they’re totally freaked out by their first train ride. Well, I guess riding something that moves this fast would be a first-time experience for them.

“So this is the other world…”

“It really is a different world…”

“Just like Masayoshi-nii said, there really aren’t any adventurers here…”

“There are too many people, it’s scary, nya…”

I brought Lilith and the others to Akihabara Station. That’s because they requested to see the capital of my country.

Tokyo, the capital of Japan. At first, I thought I’d show them around Tokyo Station, but there’s actually not much to see around there… That historical red-brick Tokyo Station probably wouldn’t be very unusual for them.

So instead, I decided on Akihabara, where there are lots of things to see. Recently, even foreigners often refer to Akihabara when they think of Tokyo.

“Let’s go to Kanda Myojin first. There are a lot of people, so make sure you don’t get separated.”

“O-Okay!”

“I-I’ll be careful!”

Kanda Myojin is a place with over 1300 years of history. It’s a venerable shrine said to bring good fortune in relationships and business prosperity. It’s even been featured in anime, and since it’s in Akiba, they have unique IT-themed charms too.

By the way, Lilith and the others are wearing modern clothes from this world, but their prominent cat ears and tails are fully visible—yet no one is paying any attention to them. That’s thanks to the magic tool Ande made, which disguises appearances.

It’s pretty amazing that Ande can make just about any magic tool as long as he has the materials. He’s kind of like a certain blue, cat-shaped robot… Well, not really, but you get the idea.

Also, since this is Akiba, there are maids, cosplayers, and people in Gothic Lolita fashion walking around, so even without a magic tool, cat ears and tails would probably be fine here...

“In this country, people pray to the gods at shrines. There are also things called omamori, which are charms that protect you from bad luck.”

“I see, kind of like the churches in our world, huh?”

Now that it’s been pointed out, shrines might be kind of like churches. Well, they pray to different gods and are technically quite different, but still.

We all offered our prayers and received some omamori. Just a note: omamori aren’t something you buy, but something you “receive.” Also, they’re counted not as “one, two” but as “one body, two bodies.” Fun fact!

“When you come to Akihabara, you gotta stop by the shrine first. Well then, let’s have lunch.”

And so, we ended up at a ramen shop. …Going to a ramen shop with four girls? Am I insane? But hey, if you come to this world, you’ve gotta try ramen!

Akihabara is a battlefield of ramen shops. There are tons of different kinds. It’s also a hotspot for curry and meat dishes. Actually, it’s a battlefield for all kinds of food.

“This looks super delicious!”

“It smells amazing!”

We came to a ramen shop that serves soy sauce tonkotsu ramen.

“It’s hot, so be careful. Here’s how you use chopsticks.”

“This is hard, nya.”

Come to think of it, chopsticks weren’t a thing in their world. But Japan is a chopstick culture, so I’ll have them get used to it bit by bit.

“Whoa!? This is insanely good!”

“It’s totally different from the noodle dishes in our world!”

“The noodles are so springy, and the soup is super rich! I could eat this forever!”

“The meat on top is sooo tasty, nya!”

Everyone’s scarfing down ramen like there’s no tomorrow. There were noodle dishes in their world too, but it was mostly soup pasta or yakisoba-style stuff, so it doesn’t compare to ramen here.

“Masayoshi-nii, can I get another bowl?”

“Same here!”

“Um… me too, please.”

…Looks like even the large portions weren’t enough for the three of them.

“There are lots of other places that are just as tasty, and tons of different foods too, so how about we go to a place tonight where we can try a variety of dishes?”
