Hey guys,
As most of you probably know by now Disqus has stopped providing services to many sites and our site is one of them. Right now,
we are in the middle of developing our independent comment system. As of today(26 March 2025), we are releasing the comment with
Limited features. There are other features still under development and may take some time to roll out.

“Alright, that settles it. Now that it's decided, let's leave this dungeon immediately and head to your brother.”
“Thanks, I really appreciate it.”
“Looks like the dismantling is finished too. Let’s check out the room ahead. The boss was a bit troublesome, but since this is only about a 15-floor dungeon, we shouldn’t expect too much from the rewards.”
We all stepped into the opened room. As Rurune had mentioned, inside was a large treasure chest and a magic circle.
“Wow, this is just like a game!”
“Game?”
“Ah, no, it’s nothing.”
It must have slipped out due to my excitement. Not just the dungeon itself, but the large stone chamber, the beautifully decorated treasure chest, and the glowing magic circle—this really feels like a world straight out of a game.
“Alright, what do we do with this treasure chest?”
“You guys take it. We’re good.”
“We got a good meal and had your company in the dungeon. Masayoshi, you take it.”
Refusing here would just be tactless.
“Then, I’ll gratefully accept it.”
I’ll keep it as a memento of my first dungeon conquest. Instead, I’ll let the others split the reward money among themselves.
“This looks like a bracelet?”
Inside were two green bracelets, seemingly made of stone.
“Looks like some kind of magic tool. You should get it appraised at the Adventurer’s Guild when we get back. That said, it wasn’t a particularly difficult dungeon, so don’t get your hopes up.”
Hmm, I wonder what kind of magic tool it is. Even if it turns out to be useless, it’ll still be a nice keepsake from my first dungeon adventure.
With that, we hurried onto the teleportation magic circle to return to the dungeon entrance and set off to help Alec’s brother.
“Amazing, we really got back to the dungeon entrance in an instant!”
The magic circle in the boss’s chamber—once we stepped onto it, there was a brief strange sensation, and before I knew it, we had arrived at the dungeon’s first-floor entrance. Now, we just had to go through a long corridor, climb the stairs, and we’d be outside.
“The workings of this magic circle remain mysterious. It seems different from the teleportation magic Master Masayoshi uses.”
Hmm, so the mechanism of that magic circle is somewhat different from teleportation magic. If we could analyze it, it’d probably be extremely useful… but I suppose it doesn’t really matter since I can use teleportation magic myself.
“Alright, let’s hurry to Alec’s brother’s village.”
“Yeah!”
“Everyone, you’re safe!”
“Yes, we successfully cleared the dungeon. In the end, we fought alongside this party, and we were all able to defeat the boss safely.”
“As expected of a high-rank adventurer party! This town has been saved, thanks to you. We truly appreciate it!”
While Lilith and Boris, the leader of Gale Thunder, were explaining the situation to the guards at the dungeon entrance, we quietly moved into the forest. It was already getting quite dark.
“Alright, Fūsuke, we’re counting on you.”
“Hoo!”
Fūsuke, who was perched on my shoulder, hopped down to the ground. Then, right before our eyes, his form began to grow larger and larger. Yes, Fūsuke could freely change his size. He usually stayed small, but he also had the ability to grow larger.
I discovered this when we were discussing how to reach Alec’s village inside the dungeon.
“My brother is currently in our hometown village. It’s quite remote, up in the mountains, so there aren’t any carriages going there. The fastest way would be to take a carriage to Bradley Town and walk from there.”
“Hmm… It’s already night, so there are no carriages running. And walking there would take quite a bit of time.”
From what I heard about his brother’s condition, we might not make it in time if we travel too slowly. If I could just use teleportation magic, we could get there instantly—but I can’t teleport somewhere I’ve never been before.
Currently, my fastest method of travel is blasting myself forward with wind magic, but since I don’t know where Alec’s village is, carrying him while using wind magic would be far too dangerous. What should we do…?
“Hoo!!”
“Hmm? Sorry, Fūsuke, just give me a little more time to think.”
“Hoo! Hoo!”
Huh? He was shaking his head as if to say "no," then beat his chest with his wings as if telling me to leave it to him.
“Wha!?”
“F-Fūsuke-chan!?”
“T-The owl just got huge!?”
Right before my eyes, Fūsuke kept growing bigger and bigger! So, not only could he shrink, but he could also enlarge himself!
“Are you saying… you can carry us on your back?”
“Hoo!”
Fūsuke was now around 3 to 4 meters in size. With this, he could probably carry multiple people and fly us there.
“Alright, Alec, once we leave the dungeon, guide us to where your brother is.”
“A-Ah…!”
“Also, I can use magic, but I’m not very knowledgeable about injuries or healing magic, so Rurune, would you mind coming with us?”
“Of course. I don’t know how much help I’ll be, but I’ll do my best.”
Even if I can use great magic, I don’t have much medical or magical knowledge. It’d be best to have someone like Rurune, who seems more familiar with these things, come along.
