Message:

Hello guys,
First of all, we would like to apologize for disappearing without notice. Some problem suddenly came up with the hosting service we were using so we had to migrate our website. It took some time but we are finally up and running again. We will try to make sure that this does not happen again.

Additionally, this sudden migration has put a strain on our finances, so we need your support more than ever. As for how you can support us, we have listed that below:

Once again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We hope that you will continue to support us.

I took out the outdoor spices, salt, and pepper from my backpack and placed them in front of the guild employee.

"Understood. I will now appraise the items for you."

"Yes, please."

Just as I had expected. It seems that spices in this world don't cause much of a fuss. Back in my world, there was a time when things like pepper were extremely valuable. Based on the market research I did earlier, I found that while spices do sell for a decent price, they aren’t as valuable as gold.

Of course, since I’m penniless, it would be great if I could sell them for a high price, but I also don’t want to attract too much attention. I still don’t fully understand this new world. There is, however, one thing I’ve been concerned about...

"...This is exceptional quality. This is the salt, this is the pepper, and this one is a blend of various spices, correct?"

Alright, the one thing I was worried about seems to be fine. According to Roya and the others, most employees of the commercial guild can use appraisal magic. While this magic can’t be used on people, it can give detailed information about items.

The spices I brought are from my original world. If the appraisal magic had labeled them as "salt (from another world)" or something, it would have caused a huge commotion. However, judging by the employee's reaction, there’s no need to worry about that.

"It’s rare for such high-quality items to be brought into this town. And what’s even more remarkable is this container!"

"The container?"

"Yes, this glass jar is extraordinary! You don’t often see such well-crafted, perfectly cylindrical glass like this. Pardon me, but would it be possible to obtain these items regularly?"

I hadn’t given much thought to the containers. They were just glass jars I bought from a 100-yen shop, but now that I think about it, I hadn’t seen any perfectly cylindrical glass in the marketplace here.

"...You have a keen eye! These glass jars are the work of a craftsman from my homeland. I hope you’ll buy them along with the highest-quality spices inside.

However, my homeland is very far from here, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to return. So, this will be the only time I can sell these to you."

"I see... I apologize for prying into such a valuable item. Thank you for sharing that with me. Now, I will calculate the appraisal value. Please wait a moment."

Phew... It looks like I managed to get through that. Besides, this is all the spice I have, so this will be the last time I sell them. For now, I have no way of returning to my homeland—my original world.

"Thank you for waiting. Let me explain the appraisal value. First, the salt is worth three silver coins, the pepper is worth one gold coin, and the mixed spices are worth two gold coins. The glass jars are worth ten gold coins each, bringing the total to thirty-three gold coins and three silver coins. How does that sound?"

Whoa, it’s a lot higher than I expected. Most of the value is from the jars. I never imagined those small glass jars would sell for such a high price.

From the market research I did earlier, I found out that, roughly speaking, one copper coin is worth about 100 yen, one silver coin is 1,000 yen, and one gold coin is 10,000 yen. There’s also a platinum coin worth 100 gold coins.

At least with this much money, I should be able to cover my living expenses for the time being.

"Yes, I’ll take that."

"Understood. Please wait a moment."

"Here are thirty-three gold coins and three silver coins. If you have anything else to sell, please come visit us at the commercial guild again."

"Thank you very much... Whoa!?"

"Ah! Is something wrong?"

"Oh, no, I’m sorry. Everything’s fine... Uh, this..."

"Is something wrong with the payment?"

"No, nothing at all! Thank you for the purchase! If I find anything else to sell, I’ll bring it here again!"

I quickly stuffed the gold coins into my backpack and rushed out of the commercial guild.

"Phew! That startled me! What the heck just happened?"

The moment I touched the gold coins after receiving the total amount, a translucent window suddenly appeared before my eyes. Judging from the guild employee's reaction, it seems she couldn’t see the window. I bet she thinks I’m some kind of weirdo... Ugh, I didn’t even get her name...

I left the commercial guild and sat on a nearby bench to take a closer look at the window.

"Is this... camping gear from my original world? Can I actually buy stuff from here?"

Displayed in the window before me were various camping items I was familiar with from my original world. In the top-left corner of the window, written in Japanese, were the words Outdoor Shop LV1.
