Hello guys,
First of all, we would like to apologize for disappearing without notice. Some problem suddenly came up with the hosting service we
were using so we had to migrate our website. It took some time but we are finally up and running again. We will try to make sure
that this does not happen again.
Additionally, this sudden migration has put a strain on our finances, so we need your support more than ever. As for how you can support us, we have listed that below:
Once again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We hope that you will continue to support us.
Two months have passed since the massive wave of monsters descended upon us.
And during that time, what have we been doing? Absolutely nothing.
That’s because, well, there’s nothing left for us to do.
You see, we’ve become quite wealthy lately.
Though to be honest, it’s not that we’re swimming in cash—there’s just an overwhelming stockpile of materials waiting to be exchanged for money.
This luxurious, extended period of doing nothing is all thanks to Ivy.
Her full power is truly something beyond words. She’s grown far more formidable than I had imagined, to the point where even the monsters seem trivial before her might.
Thanks to Ivy unleashing her full strength, the invading monster horde was almost entirely annihilated.
Adventurers like Shannon and her team handled the stragglers, but it was Ivy who single-handedly crushed the monstrous army that had approached.
Of course, as her contracted beast tamer, the rights to all the monsters she defeated belong to me.
The number of monsters she took down easily exceeded ten thousand, leaving the kingdom scrambling to process and convert the materials into money.
Even the Endrold Margrave approached me with a desperate plea:
“Just be patient. I promise we’ll pay you, but we need more time!”
So, naturally, we’ve decided to wait.
It’s not like we’re in a rush to spend the money anyway.
“Yawn…”
“Mii~”
Leaning against Ivy’s shell—a strangely comfortable spot—I stretch out lazily. Ivy, lying flat on her stomach, stretches out her legs and arms.
I’d been napping on her back, as usual.
“Want to lie on your back?”
“Mii!”
When Ivy chirped her energetic “Yes!”, I couldn’t help but chuckle.
Smiling, I climbed down from her back.
As Ivy flipped over with a light magical assist, adjusting her position to catch the sunlight perfectly, I lay down beside her.
“Any thoughts on what we should have for dinner today?”
“Mii…”
Ivy made a slightly displeased expression, signaling that she’d had enough meat for now.
Our meals tend to be pretty meat-heavy, mostly because someone around here keeps bringing back fresh game from the nearby forest. Ivy, who prefers a more balanced diet of vegetables and fish, isn’t too thrilled about it.
“Grurrr!”
“Mii!”
And there he was—the source of her displeasure. Ivy frowned as the shadow of our resident troublemaker loomed over us.
Descending from the sky with a flourish was the griffin, Sanshita.
[“Today’s tribute, my lord,”] he announced in his usual groveling tone, his powerful frame comically mismatched with his subservient attitude.
Clutched in his claws was a Cave Boar, a magical boar monster.
“…Didn’t you bring one of those two days ago?”
As much as I appreciated the effort, eating boar meat day after day was starting to wear thin.
Unable to withstand our collective stares, Sanshita lay flat on the ground, announcing, [“May I join your nap, my lord?”]
Well, why not? Resuming my lazy day, I leaned back and sighed.
Ah, peace…
Thanks to the materials from the monster wave, we no longer had to worry about money.
We’ve been liberated from the burdens of work, free to nap whenever we like.
Sure, napping too much can mess with your sleep at night, but who’s going to stop me? Not even the gods have that right.
We now live in the former summer villa of the Endrold Margrave, nestled on the outskirts of the town of Acoupe.
It’s secluded, surrounded by trees, and perfect for avoiding prying eyes.
And the price? Free.
Sure, they say nothing is more expensive than free stuff, but hey, who am I to refuse such a gift?
Our days are spent in a cycle of eating, sleeping, and lazing about—a delightfully indulgent lifestyle.
Living without concern for time… Honestly, it’s nothing short of perfection.
