We all saw off the last customer of the day together. Today, we began selling three new products: Outdoor Spice, Instant Curry, and Yōkan. Fortunately, we were able to complete the day’s business without any major issues.

“Phew~ Good job, everyone. Thanks to you all, we managed to finish today’s business successfully.”

“Good job, Tetsuya. It’s been a while since we were this busy.”

“So many customers came today!”

Just as Lilia and Fia-chan said, we had advertised the new products in advance for several days, so a large number of customers lined up from the morning. Since the new products were food-related, the turnout was even greater than usual.

“The yōkan samples were very well received. This sweet is not only useful as preserved food but is also delicious, so everyone was quite surprised.”

“The Instant Curry sold quite well too. However, many customers asked about how to prepare it, along with the storage packs.”

“I see. Since there aren’t many sweets in this town, yōkan is bound to become popular. I wrote an explanation for the storage packs, but maybe it was a bit too complicated. I should rethink the wording.”

Angel was in charge of regulating the number of customers entering the store and offering yōkan samples to those waiting outside. It seemed to be quite popular even at the sampling stage.

Although the instructions for the storage packs included a note about bringing them back to the outdoor shop for reuse, some people might have found it difficult to understand. As for the Instant Curry, perhaps the idea of heating it in hot water wasn’t very familiar. I’ll reconsider the wording later.

“The Outdoor Spice was really popular too. But the real surprise will come once people actually start using it. I bet tomorrow will be even busier.”

“Yeah, I agree. Those who couldn’t buy it today because we ran out will definitely come back, so we’ll probably be busy for a while.”

Lange was right about the Outdoor Spice. Those who missed out on the samples will start using it after today, and word about its amazing taste will spread.

Even though I had stocked more than usual, everything in storage was sold out by around 2 or 3 PM. To maintain the secrecy of my outdoor shop’s ability, once the stock in storage is gone, that’s it for the day.

Tomorrow, the customers who missed out today will surely come back, making it even busier than today. Still, I was grateful to have everyone’s input and support. No doubt we’ll be busy again starting tomorrow, but we’ll tackle it together.

Five days had passed since the new product launch.

Just like before, there were some small disputes among customers in the morning queue, but nothing too serious. Recently, since we became a well-known affiliated store of the Adventurers’ Guild in this town, there haven’t been any troublemakers causing issues here.

Thanks to our staff becoming more experienced with customer service, there had been almost no major problems lately.

“This week was really hectic.”

“Phew~ Lange, you’re right. It’s been a long time since we were this busy.”

Due to the launch of Outdoor Spice, Retort Curry, and Yōkan, we had an overwhelming number of customers, making for an extremely busy but rewarding week.

“That said, Outdoor Spice isn’t something that runs out quickly, so I expect the crowds will start to settle down a bit next week.”

“I see. As expected of Angel!”

“Angel is right. Towards the end of the week, the number of customers had already started to taper off. The shop will be closed for the next two days, and while we might get another rush from people who heard about the products during the break, the numbers should gradually stabilize after that.”

Even if someone used Outdoor Spice for every meal, it wouldn’t run out that quickly. Sales should naturally level off in time.

“The bigger issue is the Retort Curry and Yōkan. They’ve been selling out every single day.”

“Lots of customers have been lining up from the morning!”

Just as Lilia and Fia-chan pointed out, the curry and yōkan had been incredibly popular. Even the extra-large stock of storage packs that Gregor prepared for us was running low.

There were a lot of dishes to wash, so having our usual inn handle it for us was the right call.

“As for the yōkan, plenty of customers ate them right outside the shop as soon as they bought them. Since sweets like that are rare in this town, I totally understand their excitement.”

Just as Lilia said, I had seen many customers opening their storage packs and eating yōkan right in front of the shop.

It really showed how much people in this world were craving sweets. Even though I originally intended them as ration food with a long shelf life...
