The next morning, we headed straight to the Raven branch of Rashiyu Trading Company. Nir had come along as well, but since we couldn’t exactly bring him inside, he waited at the entrance.

"Good morning, Lord Shu, Lady Rio."

"Good morning."

As we exchanged greetings with Fleur, her expression gradually shifted into one of curiosity.

"What brings you here today?"

She asked with a serious expression, likely because we had approached her so directly.

"I wanted to discuss something with you, Fleur."

"A discussion…? Well, let’s take a seat first."

She guided us to the same seats as before. Once we were settled, I got straight to the point.

"Do you know that Mimina Trading Company has been aggressively trying to raise funds?"

"Yes, I am aware. Apparently, they need a lot of money to repair their storage facility."

Fleur briefly glanced at Nir, who was still waiting at the entrance.

"That makes things easier. There's a workshop that has helped us a lot, and I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to help them."

"Hmm..."

I explained that we were willing to part with a large number of materials and items and wanted to sell them to her company. The money earned from the sale could then be used to provide financial support to the workshop.

"I see, so that’s your plan. In that case..."

With a small smile, Fleur paused before continuing.

"We would be more than happy to do so. Mimina Trading Company is losing influence with their reckless financial moves, and this is a prime opportunity to bring more workshops under our umbrella and expand our reach."

"Ah, thank you very much."

Her confident declaration was a little overwhelming, but for us, it was a huge relief.

"Since some of the items must be quite large, let’s head directly to the warehouse."

Fleur stood up, and two other employees followed behind us as we exited the store. Nir, who had been waiting outside, also got up and trailed behind as we made our way to the warehouse at the back.

Since the entrance was large and there was ample space, Nir was allowed to come inside.

"This should be a good spot."

It wasn’t the same warehouse where we had delivered the wood, but it was about the same size. Seeing the fangs, claws, and bones of monsters stored inside, it was clearly a dismantling area. That meant it was the perfect place to bring out the big stuff.

"Alright, let’s start with the Earth Dragon."

"Huh?"

"It’s quite large, so please step back."

A B-rank Murder Raptor had fetched over twenty million, and considering its size, the Earth Dragon had to be worth a few hundred million at least.

I had no idea how much damage Mimina Trading Company’s fundraising had caused, so I wasn’t going to hold back.

"Ah, wait a moment!"

"Yes?"

"Is it… is it still intact?"

"Ah, yes. It took some effort to take it down, so it’s pretty beat up, though."

"...May I see it first?"

"Sure, no problem."

Rio nodded at my glance and opened her dimensional storage.

"Uh, let’s see… this one."

She pulled out the Earth Dragon’s head. We had defeated it by severing its neck, but we had been so exhausted at the time that we just tossed it into the storage without a second thought.

Even in its reduced form, Nir was only about a third the size of the dragon’s head. Since the storage had frozen time for it, the blood was still fresh and began dripping onto the ground.

"Lanbel, collect the blood! Wolg, go get reinforcements immediately!"

"Y-yes!"

As soon as she saw the blood spilling from the dragon’s neck, Fleur turned pale and barked out orders. One employee rushed to grab a large container, while another sprinted outside.

Meanwhile, Nir stepped closer to the dragon’s head, opened his mouth wide, and—

—took a big bite out of the dripping flesh.

"Hey!?"

"Wha—!?"

"Aaaaah!?"

First came my and Rio’s shocked voices, followed immediately by Fleur’s scream.

Nir, completely unconcerned, continued devouring the dragon’s head as if it were the most delicious meal in the world. I hadn't expected him to just start eating like that, but considering this thing was even stronger than a Great Dragon, it probably tasted amazing.

Well, as long as he doesn’t eat the whole thing, it’s fine. Since he was in his smaller form, his appetite had shrunk accordingly.

"Man, you really do love food, huh?"

He had devoured his meals at the inn just as eagerly.

"Lord Shu, is this really okay!?"

Fleur alternated between staring at me and the steadily diminishing dragon head. I simply nodded.

"No problem. Nir, just eat the meat around the neck, alright?"

Lanbel, who had just returned with a large container, looked completely lost as to what to do next, which was honestly pretty amusing.

"Wafuu~"

After a while, Nir let out a contented noise and flopped down beside me. His mouth was covered in blood, so I cleaned him up.

Looking back at the dragon’s head, I saw that, as instructed, only the meat around the neck was missing. Maybe he had simply gotten full.

"Looks like he’s satisfied now."

"Ah, alright… then..."

As Lanbel got to work collecting the blood, the sound of multiple footsteps approached from outside. Wolg had returned with reinforcements.

"Fleur! I brought help!"

And the moment the reinforcements saw the Earth Dragon’s head—

—they all screamed.

It seemed Wolg had rushed to call for help without actually telling them what needed to be dismantled.
