With that, the day’s business safely came to an end, and the last customer left the shop.

“Phew, great job, everyone. Wow, today was exhausting. This might have been the busiest day we’ve ever had!”

“Working in retail is really tiring, isn’t it? It might have been even more exhausting than some high-difficulty quests. How are you all holding up so well?”

“No, we’re definitely more tired than usual because of all the customers. But we’re used to the job by now, so we’re probably less worn out than you, Lange,” said Dolph.

Dolph was right. After getting accustomed to this job, it’s likely we’re not as fatigued as Lange, who was working his first day on the floor.

“Even though it was your first day, Lange, your customer service was great. You really helped out a lot today with all the extra customers.”

“I’m glad to hear that. I talk to people all the time when I travel to different places, so I’m pretty good at this kind of thing. Plus, I get to meet cute girls through this job, so it might not be so bad!”

“Lange, you’re as incorrigible as ever. Please don’t bring any romantic drama into this shop,” Lilia said sternly.

“Don’t worry about it, Lilia. I’ve always handled these things smoothly before!”

...Apparently, Lange is something of a playboy. He’s a good-looking elf and a high-ranking adventurer, so it’s no surprise he’s popular.

Still, I really hope he doesn’t cause trouble with stalkers or issues involving women from adventurer parties, as that would be a headache for the other staff. But knowing Lange, he seems to have a good sense of boundaries despite his carefree demeanor, so I’ll trust him for now.

“Keep it reasonable, okay? Great work today, too, Fia-chan.”

“Thanks! So many customers came today. I’m so glad the new products sold well, Tetsuya-oniichan!”

“Yeah. We sold out of the stock we prepared by early afternoon. I’m sure the news will spread, and we’ll have another big line tomorrow morning.”

We prepared the same amount of stick ramen and nutrition bars as we did for the instant soup when the store first opened. Back then, we sold out by the evening, but today, we were already out of stock by early afternoon.

Over time, the shop has gained regular customers who frequently buy from us. Plus, having items like compasses and water purifiers displayed at the Adventurer’s Guild has helped raise the shop’s visibility.

Also, the aroma from the stick ramen samples seemed to attract passersby. People walking down the street couldn’t resist buying it after catching a whiff.

“That ramen dish was truly delicious. It lasts a long time and only requires boiling water to prepare. I’m sure adventurers will find it incredibly useful.”

“It was super tasty!”

Of course, I also had Dolph and Fia-chan sample the new products. Both of them loved the taste of the stick ramen.

“These nutrition bars are also much sweeter and tastier compared to other preserved foods. I bet they’ll be popular among adventurers as well.”

The nutrition bars didn’t sell quite as well as the stick ramen, but they were still popular among adventurers. However, the stick ramen was undeniably the star of the day.

Since the ramen was sold as a five-serving set, we limited it to one per person. Still, many customers wanted both the soy sauce and pork bone flavors. Being in a party has its perks when you can share.

“Selling the Sierra Cups alongside the stick ramen really worked out. It was definitely the right move to bundle them together rather than selling them individually.”

The Sierra Cups, which allow for precise measurement of boiling water, also sold really well when paired with the stick ramen. While Sierra Cups are useful on their own, they wouldn’t have sold nearly as many without being bundled with the ramen.

That said, Sierra Cups are extremely versatile. They can be used as measuring cups, directly heated over a fire for cooking, or even as serving dishes for soups or other items. Owning one is undeniably practical.

“These cups are sturdy and convenient. I’m sure tomorrow will bring another wave of customers—those who missed out today or want to buy the other flavor,” Lilia said confidently.

“You’re probably right. We should also be prepared for potential customer disputes over lining up. Lange, what about you? Since you’ve proven capable of handling the register, do you want to switch to managing the line tomorrow?”

After selling out of the new products, the number of customers decreased, giving us the chance to have Lange try working the register. He managed it without any issues.

“Nah, I’d rather stay outside and talk to customers. Some of them promised they’d come back tomorrow!”

Well, from what I observed, Lange didn’t just chat with female adventurers; he also answered questions from male rookie adventurers with a smile. So, I think it should be fine… probably.

“Anyway, great work today, everyone. Let’s quickly wrap up the closing tasks and prepare for tomorrow.”
