Yesterday, after indulging in a hearty meal of dragon meat with Lilith and the others, I didn’t have the chance to visit Sara's mansion.

Now it’s late Sunday morning, and once again, I pass through the portal to the other world. Using teleportation magic, I arrive near the forest close to Luxeria City. Showing my pass to the gatekeepers, I make my way into the city.

“...The security here hasn’t changed,” I mutter, observing the numerous guards stationed outside Sara’s mansion. It seems the first and second princes’ orders for heightened security are still in effect.

“Excuse me, my name is Masayoshi, an acquaintance of Lady Sara. Is she available?” I inquire with one of the guards.

“Ah, Master Masayoshi. Please wait a moment while I call someone from the mansion,” the guard responds promptly.

It seems he remembers me from my previous visit. Shortly after, someone from the mansion arrives to escort me inside.

“Ah, Lord Masayoshi, it’s been a while!”

“Mr. Darga, it’s good to see you! Is Sara here today?”

“The princess is currently attending her lessons, but she should finish shortly. Is it something urgent?”

“No, not at all. I happened upon some excellent ingredients and thought I’d bring them as a token of gratitude for the information Gina shared about the Great Sage.”

“Oh, the princess and Gina will be delighted! The cake you brought last time was exquisite.”

“Of course, I brought more cake today. I’d also like to ask if your chef could prepare a meal using these ingredients.”

“Certainly. Please follow me; I’ll introduce you to our head chef.”

“Pleased to meet you. I’m Fara, the head chef of this mansion.”

“Likewise, I’m Masayoshi.”

“I’ve heard about you. They say you’re the princess’s savior. I also heard the cakes you provided last time were exceptional.”

“Thank you. I brought extra cakes this time, so please enjoy them as well.”

“Truly? I’d been hoping for the chance to try them myself. Thank you kindly. Now, about the ingredients you mentioned…”

“Here they are. It’s said to be meat from a wyvern’s superior species. I’d love to see it prepared by a skilled chef like yourself.”

“...Ah, storage magic! How remarkable to keep ingredients fresh. This meat... it’s of extraordinary quality! Far superior to anything I’ve worked with before.”

I decided not to reveal that it’s actually dragon meat. While Sara and the others trust me, casually mentioning I hunted a dragon might cause unnecessary complications.

“These sauces are from my homeland. They pair wonderfully with grilled meat, so please try them out,” I suggest, handing over small bottles of golden sauce and grated radish sauce.

“What unique colors! I’ll gladly make use of them,” Fara says with interest.

“Ah, so that’s the best way to sear the meat. I’m learning so much,” I remark, observing Fara’s expert techniques.

“This meat is already high-quality with minimal sinew, but tenderizing and removing any excess fibers enhances it further. Searing it quickly over high heat and then cooking it gently seals in the juices perfectly,” Fara explains as he works.

Watching a professional chef at work is truly educational. As Fara expertly prepares several dishes, I can’t help but admire his precision and speed.

“Master Masayoshi!”

“Ms. Sara, it’s been a while.”

The kitchen door swings open, and Sara enters with a bright smile. It’s been a week since I last saw her, but her cheerful demeanor is as captivating as ever.

“It’s so good to see you again! I heard from Darga that you brought some rare ingredients!”

“Yes, as a token of thanks for Gina’s help. The food will be ready soon, so please wait just a little longer.”

“Of course! I can’t wait!”

“As promised, I brought some premium wyvern meat. Gina-san, thank you for sharing the Great Sage’s information with me last time,” I say as I present the dishes.

Gina replies with a slight bow, “It’s only natural to share such knowledge among fellow admirers of the Great Sage. Thank you for going out of your way to bring this feast.”

Well, whether I’m a “fellow admirer” or not, her help has been invaluable.

“I also made a dish from my homeland. It’s called ‘katsu,’ a breaded and deep-fried meat dish. This sauce pairs beautifully with it,” I explain, gesturing to the plate of pre-prepared dragon katsu I’d fried yesterday.

“This flavor... incredible! This is the finest meat I’ve ever tasted!”

“Amazing. Not just the meat but every flavor is so unique!”

“Master Masayoshi, this katsu is phenomenal! The sauce is unlike anything I’ve ever had before!”

The dishes are met with enthusiastic approval, just as they were with Lilith’s group. I take a bite of the dishes Fara prepared, and they’re on a whole different level from what I made yesterday.

From the perfectly roasted dragon meat to the vegetable stew, each dish highlights the meat’s quality in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Even the sauces I brought have been skillfully incorporated, making the experience truly unforgettable.

The day concludes with heartfelt thanks from Sara and her staff. It’s satisfying to know that both my culinary offerings and the rare ingredients were so well received.
