Message:

Hello guys,
First of all, we would like to apologize for disappearing without notice. Some problem suddenly came up with the hosting service we were using so we had to migrate our website. It took some time but we are finally up and running again. We will try to make sure that this does not happen again.

Additionally, this sudden migration has put a strain on our finances, so we need your support more than ever. As for how you can support us, we have listed that below:

Once again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We hope that you will continue to support us.

"We can see it now; that city is Luxeria, the royal capital of the country of Edwards."

"Oh, wow, that wall is huge!"

Looking in the direction Sara pointed, I saw a city protected by towering, massive walls.

"Yes, thanks to that high wall, we have repelled invasions from other countries and monster attacks many times."

After that, there were no significant incidents, and with a brief midday break, we safely arrived at the city before sunset. Honestly, I could probably run faster than the carriage, but traveling in a carriage with two beautiful women wasn’t too bad at all.

At first, even casual conversation made my heart race, which was understandable since I’d never really been around women before.

When we reached the wall, we went through a checkpoint guarded by sentries and entered the city. Of course, I didn’t have any form of ID, but the princess vouched for me, so we passed through without any issues.

"Whoa!"

The view inside the walls was indeed a sight out of a different world. A broad street stretched out in front of the gate, filled with crowds and wagons bustling about. The people walking along it were dressed in all kinds of clothing.

There were people who looked like merchants carrying large loads, farmers with baskets of crops, and individuals clad in plate armor who looked like knights or adventurers.

And then there were beastfolk, like the ones with cat ears and long, flicking tails, others who looked like bipedal dogs, and even a short, bearded dwarf covered in fur. It seemed like all kinds of non-human races coexisted in this city.

"This is amazing!"

"Yes, everyone who visits is surprised. There aren’t many cities as large as this, even across other nations. Many people gather here from all over the kingdom, so you see a wide variety of races."

My excitement shouldn't come as a surprise—this was like stepping into a world from an anime or manga!

"What’s that big building over there?"

"That’s the commerce guild. You need to register there if you want to do business in this city."

"I see. And what about that building over there?"

"That’s the adventurer’s guild, where you can register as an adventurer. You can also post requests to adventurers or sell materials there."

"Oh, so that’s the adventurer’s guild! And what about that building with smoke coming from the chimney?"

"That’s a blacksmith shop. This country is famous for its blacksmiths, so I can introduce you if you’re interested."

"Really? I’d love that later! And what’s that building over there?"

I bombarded Sara and the others with questions in my excitement. I mean, this was a city from another world! The medieval scenery, the beastfolk, and dwarves straight out of fantasy—it was exhilarating.

"This is my residence. It’s a small estate, but please make yourself at home."

"Uh, right. Excuse me."

She called it a small estate, but the mansion she led us to was the largest building I’d seen in the city. I reminded myself that Sara was indeed a princess. It was only fitting that she lived in such a grand place.

Darga and his group were off handing the captured bandits over to the military police. They mentioned something about conducting an interrogation, which I didn’t really want to imagine.

A maid escorted me to wash up, and then I was shown to my room for a short rest.

Seeing maids in another world was somehow moving. Real maids, not the cosplay ones from cafes! It was thrilling, honestly.

The maid uniforms here were simple—black fabric with a white apron, focusing on practicality without frills. It made sense, after all.

"Master Masayoshi, dinner is ready."

"Thank you very much."

I followed the maid into a large room, adorned with beautiful decorations, paintings, and other valuable-looking art pieces. Since Sara and the others hadn’t arrived yet, I took a seat alone. I wondered if they’d serve something like dragon steak here.

"Master Masayoshi, thank you for waiting."

"Oh, I wasn’t waiting long at all…"

I was at a loss for words. Sara, who I’d spent so much time with, had always been a cute girl. But now, her previously dusty hair was washed clean, glowing like golden silk. She wore a vibrant red dress, accessorized with a sparkling necklace, and had a touch of makeup. She was stunning, like a girl from a fairy tale.

"Um, Master Masayoshi?"

"N-no, excuse me. You just looked so different from earlier… I mean, you’re so beautiful that I…"

"My, thank you very much. Now, let us dine. I’m deeply grateful for saving our lives. I hope you’ll enjoy the food and relax after your journey."

I’d mustered up my courage to call her beautiful face-to-face, but it seemed like Sara was used to hearing such compliments.

"Thank you for the invitation. Let’s eat."

Seated next to Sara was Gina, also dressed beautifully.

The food from this other world was delicious. I was surprised to learn the meat came from monsters, but they were carefully raised and as tasty as anything I’d eaten in my world. Sadly, there was no dragon meat on the menu.

"So, you’ll be exploring the city tomorrow, Master Masayoshi?"

"Yes, since it’s such an impressive city, I’d like to walk around and see as much as I can."

After finishing the meal, I chatted with Sara and Gina.

"Then, would it be alright if I accompanied you? I’d love to guide you around."

"Princess, another guide could take him around."

"Oh, I couldn’t have the princess show me around!"

"Oh, please, let me! Or perhaps my company would be… inconvenient?"

"…Not at all."

That hopeful look in her eyes was a bit unfair.

"Then, please allow me to join you!"

I glanced at Gina, who sighed as if in resignation. Maybe Sara was the type to stick to her decisions once she made up her mind.

"Yes, I’d be honored."

"Yes! I’m looking forward to it!"

With a radiant smile, Sara beamed at me. I felt a bit bad for Gina, but I couldn’t help but look forward to tomorrow just a bit more.
