"Oh, it's you guys. Your order is ready."

When we arrived at Beldran’s workshop, we were greeted not by Clay this time, but by the workshop master himself.

"We've created a masterpiece!"

Sariana sounded confident as well. It might have been my imagination, but both of them seemed to have dark circles under their eyes. I didn’t ask them to work that hard, but at this point, there was no turning back.

"Grandpa said, ‘We made something amazing!’"

Clay, nestled in his mother’s arms, puffed out his chest proudly.

"Thank you very much."

"Ufufu, I can’t wait to see it."

"We couldn’t bring the bed out here, so come inside for a look."

Following Beldran’s lead, we headed deeper into the workshop. As we walked through the corridors and emerged into the back, we arrived at what seemed to be a woodcrafting area. The scent of wood filled the air, and planks were scattered everywhere. In the back, piles of raw, unprocessed timber were stacked high. It truly felt like a factory.

"First, here’s your dining table set."

The table was simple yet beautiful, made from a single slab of wood showcasing a fine grain. The surface’s pattern displayed tree rings, suggesting that the wood had been cross-sectioned and cut into a rectangular shape. It came with four matching chairs.

"This is amazing."

The chairs were upholstered with soft-looking leather, promising a comfortable seat.

"May I sit on it?"

"Of course! It’s your chair, after all."

With a murmured "Then, I won’t hold back," Rio sat down.

"Oh…"

Hearing her impressed reaction, I quickly followed suit.

"Ohhh…"

It was my turn to be surprised. The comfort was outstanding. The wood of the backrest also had a smooth, pleasant texture.

"The sofa and bed are in the adjacent workshop."

"Wow… this is incredible!"

There, a large bed sat majestically, exuding luxury at a glance. Lying down together, we felt like we could drift off to sleep immediately.

"Gel slime is really amazing. I’ve experimented with different materials, but I’ve never come across anything better than this."

"Indeed. The sofa came out perfect as well."

Following Beldran’s suggestion, we sat down side by side on the two-seater sofa. This thing was dangerously comfortable. If there were such a thing as a ‘sofa that ruins people,’ this would be it.

"So fluffy!"

Meanwhile, Clay had climbed onto Nir’s back, hugging him tightly. He had looked eager to ride, so we let him, and as expected, Nir’s fur was still my top choice for comfort.

"Ahaha."

"Oh, Clay… Shu, I’m so sorry."

"Not at all. Nir seems to be enjoying it, so it’s perfectly fine."

"Ah, and here—your leftover materials."

After inspecting all the furniture, Beldran retrieved the excess materials from the back. However, considering I still had plenty of stock in my spatial storage, I honestly didn’t need them.

"No, please keep the leftovers. You made us some amazing furniture, so consider it a token of gratitude."

Seeing my raw materials transformed into such fine high-end furniture was satisfaction enough. I’d spoken out of genuine appreciation, but Beldran’s face suddenly darkened.

"…Is that so."

He looked like he wanted to say something, but after exhaling deeply, he simply responded,

"…Then I’ll accept it with thanks."

And with that, we paid the fee and left the workshop.

One unexpected result of our extravagant furniture purchase was that we had to further expand our portable house for camping.

"Ehehe… Shu, you look so handsome."

Rio’s cheeks flushed as she gazed at me in my attire—an indigo-blue coat with gold and silver embroidery, paired with crisp white trousers.

The day after we had our furniture delivered, we went to the tailor to pick up our finished outfits.

After changing into mine, I turned to Rio. However, she was not yet dressed in her gown.

"Aren’t you going to change, Rio?"

"Oh, yeah. I’ll get changed now."

With a bashful smile, she headed toward the fitting room with a store attendant.

It would be a different dress from the trial fitting, but since I hadn’t been able to see her in it yet, I was really looking forward to this.

After waiting for a while, the fitting room door slowly creaked open—stopping halfway. From the narrow gap, Rio peeked out.

"I changed…"

She hesitated a bit before stepping out little by little. She wore an off-shoulder, pure white wedding dress. Delicate lace adorned various parts of the gown, and the soft skirt flared gracefully down to her ankles.

"You look… absolutely stunning."

Curse my lack of vocabulary. She was breathtaking. When we first met in this world, she had been a bit chubby, but now she had a truly elegant figure.

"If only I had a smartphone, I’d be taking a million pictures right now."

"Ahaha, thanks."

As I approached her, I gently placed a hand on her cheek and exchanged a soft kiss.

"Ahem. Is there anything about the attire that you’d like adjusted?"

A store attendant suddenly chimed in, making me realize we weren’t alone. Right, they were still here.

Taking another careful look at myself and Rio, I responded,

"No, everything is perfect."

"Understood. Would you like to wear it home?"

"Uh, no. We’ll take them with us and change later."

"Certainly."

The ceremony was in two days. It would be a shame to get the outfits dirty beforehand, so we opted to change back into our regular clothes before leaving.

"Thank you for your patronage!"

Just as we stepped outside,

"Oh my, what a coincidence. If I’m not mistaken… we’ve met before, haven’t we?"

A slender man with narrow eyes appeared, someone who seemed vaguely familiar.

Hmm… Where had I seen him before?
